swedish interiour disign

I love me some Swedish interiour disign. It's very classic and simple but so cool! In Sweden there are two big trends and that is classic brocante and the functional IKEA style (of course haha). I took some pictures when I went down town with my boyfriend a few weeks ago when he was visiting me. I can't believe it's only been a few week since he was here because it feels like forever! But anyway, I was so in love with all the things I saw, I just had to make a few snapshots. Hope u like, so long! 

P.S. that elephant pillow is perfect for my grandma, she loves elephants.

I love my life

Here are some pics from last week. Roxan and I enjoyed the sun at the lake while we were hiking. I love being in the nature because here in Sweden it's so beautiful. Last night I experienced the Northen light for the first time in my life. It was beyond magical, I can't find the words to discripe how I felt at that moment. I wanted to scream, laugh, cry and jump up and down at the same time. I will remember that moment for the rest of my life. I love being alive and I'm gratefull to experience the great nature we have on this planet. <3

If you use some moisturizer on your skin after you applyed your fountdation, your skin will look super dewy. I like ittt! I used ordinary nivea creme for this. On my lips I have my new favourite lipstick Darling Pink from H&M. It doesn't show on the pictures, but it's acually a light neon colour.

karaoke, again

Deze foto's zijn van vorige week donderdag toen we gingen karaoken met de meiden uit Oostenrijk. We gingen eerst opmaken op mijn kamer en wat drankjes drinken voordat we gingen. Natuurlijk moesten we ook even repeteren en de keeltjes opwarmen. Kan nu al niet wachten tot donderdag-karaokedag!

Afgelopen maandag heb ik met Roxan 15 km gewandeld door de natuur van Umea. We zijn bij het Nydalameer en het Stadsliden (bos) geweest. Ik had mijn comfy schoenen aan en een lekkere warme trui, toch vond ik het een leuke stoere outfit. We hebben heel veel mooie foto's van de omgeving.  Last monday I went hiking with Roxan trough the nature of Umea. We went to the lake and the woods. I wore a comfy outfit that day, but I really liked it. We took lots of pictures and to see those go to my travelblog here.

B'day

Vandaag is mijn verjaardag en ik heb echt een leuke dag gehad. Toen ik vanochtend mijn deur open deed zag ik ballonnen! En niet zomaar ballonnen, ballonnen in de vorm van een .... ?! hahaha, bedankt Roxie! Aan de ontbijttafel wachtte er ook nog een donut met kaarsjes op me en een lieve kaart van Roxan. En oh, ik heb een spiegel gehad en die miste ik echt op mijn kamer!! #selfie4leven

Eerst had ik Zweedse les en ik ben daarna gelijk doorgegaan naar virologie zodat ik in de middag eerder klaar zou zijn. Ik was ongeveer om 3 uur klaar, dus ik had gelukkig nog genoeg tijd om met mijn vriend en ouders te skypen voordat ik Semlor ging eten met mijn buddygroep. Toen ik binnenkwam bij Elin (daar was de fet-tisdag) begon iedereen voor me te zingen, echt zo leuk! Voelde ik me toch nog jarig vandaag!

Today was my birthday and I had an awsome day. Roxan hung balloons on my wall and also in the kitchen. They had a very interesting shape.. I had Semlor this night with my buddygroup because it's fet-tisdag in Sweden and everyone sung happy birthay to me. I did felt a litlle like a birthday girl today.

Vorig weekend hebben Roxan en ik lekker fika gedaan in de stad. OMG, nog nooit zon lekkere carrotcake en kladdkaka (google maar) op.

Translation:
Last weekend me and Roxan went to go have 'fika' down town. OMG, I never tasted a carrotcake and kladdkaka that good.

international night

Dit weekend was het tijd voor de international night in Skogis. Skogis ziet eruit als een jagershut met dode dieren en skies aan de muur, maar voor studenten met een union card worden er hele leuke evenementen georganiseerd. Zaterdag was het International Pub en je moest verkleed komen als het land waaruit je komt. Roxan en ik zijn de hele dag opzoek geweest naar iets oranjes en toen hadden we uiteindelijk toch maar deze rokken meegenomen. Thuis bleek dat het rood was.. Ik had wel oranje lippenstift en nagellak opgedaan, dus het was niet een complete fail.

Ik lees net mijn bericht terug van de karaoke avond en ik bedoelde dus peasoup in plaats van piesoup hehe.. :)

Translation:
This weekend it was time for the international night at Skogis. Skogis is a place that looks like a huntershut because they have dead animals on the wall, but for people with a student union card there's a lot of fun activities. Saturday it was International Pub and you had to be dressed up as your homecountry. We wore an orange (turned out to be red) skirt with orange nailpolish and lipstick.
